Chimney cleaning, inspection, repair & installation across the San Fernando Valley

Chimney Liners

The liner is what keeps heat and gases inside the flue. If yours is cracked, damaged or missing, we reline it with a stainless steel liner sized to your fireplace.

Chimney Liners in Tarzana and the San Fernando Valley

Most older chimneys use clay tile liners. Earthquakes, chimney fires and time all crack them, and a cracked liner lets heat reach the wood framing around the chimney and lets gases seep into the home.

A stainless steel liner runs the full height of the chimney inside the old flue. It restores a safe, continuous path for smoke and gases, and is also the right fix when switching to a gas insert or wood stove.

Common questions

How do I know if my liner is damaged?

Usually you can't tell from the fireplace. A Level 2 inspection with a camera scan of the flue is the way to find out.

How long does relining take?

Most relining jobs are done in a day.

Do I need a liner for a gas insert?

Yes. Gas inserts need a properly sized liner to vent correctly and safely.
