Chimney Repair & Rebuilds in Tarzana and the San Fernando Valley
Brick and mortar take a beating from sun, rain and, here in the Valley, the ground moving. Mortar joints wear out, crowns crack and water gets in. Left alone, the damage speeds up.
We repair what can be repaired and rebuild what can't. That includes tuckpointing worn mortar joints, replacing spalled bricks, rebuilding cracked crowns and taking earthquake-damaged chimneys down and rebuilding them to current requirements.

Common questions
Can a cracked chimney be repaired, or does it need a rebuild?
It depends on where the cracks are and how far they go. Surface cracks and worn joints can usually be repaired. A chimney that has shifted, leans or has cracked through above the roofline usually needs that section rebuilt. We'll show you photos and explain which applies.
Do you match the existing brick?
We match brick and mortar color as closely as available materials allow, so repairs blend in.
Does insurance cover earthquake chimney damage?
That depends entirely on your policy. We provide photos and a written estimate you can send to your insurer.
